Manifesto.
Art is the architecture of life.
It builds meaning, holds memory, unsettles, connects and opens new ways of seeing and being.
Culture is not a luxury—it is the living fabric of communities, the quiet force behind good living and just futures.
Creative thinking is infrastructure.
It cultivates empathy, sharpens insight, and generates the conditions for transformation.
Art matters—because it reminds us what matters.
At Habitus Creative, we make space for enquiry, imagination and exchange.
We work across disciplines, alongside artists, organisations and communities, to design projects and programs that generate cultural capital and shared value.
We believe in the interplay between form and feeling, people and place, vision and structure.
Habitus is the sum of what shapes us—our gestures, beliefs, histories, and the systems we inherit.
Let’s shape it with intention.
Let’s make it meaningful, generative—and just a little bit magical.
About the founder.
Megan is a driven and strategic creative leader with over 20 years experience in independent arts, creative commercial industries and arts management. Informed by a foundation in dance from the Victorian College of the Arts and a firm belief that art matters, she moves between her own practice and designing and delivering frameworks for cultural impact.
Megan generates informed and artful propositions for a more culture rich world and is committed to working across sectors to increase cultural capital, particularly in regional settings.
Drawing energy from nature, experimentation and good conversation, she is in pursuit of a life more wonder filled for herself and others.
